LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM FRAMES & FORKS - Coast Trail models are all built upon lightweight Series 1 aluminum frames and aluminum forks. This ensures that your young rider won't be held back by a heavy bike, as a lighter bike is easier to control and balance. The weight savings goes beyond the frame, and we ensured that every component spec'd offers the best balance of weight to durability. KIDS-SIZED COMPONENTS - Kids are smaller all over, so our designers took that into consideration when designing the Coast Trails. Handlebars and grips are of smaller diameter than found on adult bikes, brake levers are specifically designed for smaller hands, and even the pedals and saddles are proportionally smaller. This helps kids maintain comfort and control while they are still developing their skills as riders. SMOOTH-ROLLING 2.0" TIRES - Smooth-rolling Marin x Vee Tire 2.0" wide tires are used on all Coast Trail models, with smooth center for easy riding on paved surfaces, and inverted tread on the sides for added safety when the paths are rougher.

The Rift Zone 26 and Rift Zone Jr are for the ambitious kid looking to keep up with the adults and push the boundaries of the local bike park on a ride just as capable as its full-size counterpart. Both models utilize the same frame and fork, so a Rift Zone Jr is easily upgradable to 26" wheels and longer cranks as your little ripper grows. 26" wheels and longer cranks not included, but your local Marin dealer can source the parts. - ONE SIZE: 4'1" to 4'9" TECHNOLOGY: 24" WHEELS – UPGRADEABLE TO 26" The Rift Zone Jr can fit 26" wheels down the road, extending its life and versatility. AIR SUSPENSION Easily adjustable air suspension is tunable for a growing kid. INTERNAL ROUTING The Rift Zone 26 and Rift Zone Jr are compatible with internally routed dropper posts, with internal rear derailleur routing for a clean look and snag free ride. DISC BRAKES Hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance.

We took our Matt Jones-inspired Marin San Quentin and shrunk it down to fit 24” wheels. It's the perfect bike for kids who are ready for their first proper, hardcore hardtail mountain bike. The Marin San Quentin 24”, just like the big kid’s version, shreds the boundaries of the mountain bike genres - doing it all with a huge splash of big air, speed and style. Designed with the input of freeride legend Matt Jones, the San Quentin takes the DNA of our dirt-jumping Alcatraz and mutates it into a go-further and faster all-round, hardcore hardtail. The San Quentin 24” will feel just like a ‘grown up’ mountain bike to your little ripper, built with a stout Series 2 aluminum frame, 24” wheels, an RockShox suspension fork, 9-speed microSHIFT drivetrain and kid’s specific hydraulic disc brakes.
